Under glass panels fogged with morning condensation, hundreds of seedlings stretch toward the light. Sprout moves between the rows in soft boots. Watering, transplanting, whispering to the slower ones. Nothing rushed. Everything tender.

Details: 8 oz tin. 100% soy wax. Crackling wood wick. Hand poured in small batches in Hillsboro, Oregon. Burns about 45 hours.
